Is your student interested in participating in Cross Country this year? The first practice and information meeting is at 7:15 AM the first day of school, Aug. 13. Students will meet at the MCMS track. Only students with completed physicals and Rank One will be able to practice. Any student wanting to participate but not yet having a physical or Rank One may still come, get the information, and watch practice. Contact Coach Sullivan for more information at sullivanty@musangps.org.

Three Mustang Public Schools students competed in the 2026 State Civics Bee Finals yesterday, showcasing their civic knowledge, leadership, and ideas for strengthening their communities.

Among the three finalists, Jessica Mabray, from MCMS, earned first place in the statewide competition, securing a $1,000 prize, with a speech focused on the importance of mental health awareness and support for teens.

Supply Lists for MCMS Students

As we look forward to the upcoming 2026-27 school year, we ask that students bring the following supplies to school in August. The supplies are slightly different for each grade, so please note your student's appropriate supplies. If there are any questions, please reach out to MCMS administrators.

Effective July 1, 2024, all digital communication between school employees and students must include the student’s parent or guardian unless using a school-approved platform for school-related purposes.

At one time, all students have received free school meals due to USDA federal waivers. Unfortunately, these federal waivers have expired. Mustang Public Schools is encouraging all families to complete a free and reduced meal application each year.
